"Watch your Feet" is written for the young child particularly toddler thru third grade. The book tells the story of a snail by the name of Willie who wants to bring attention to the fact that he wants kids to notice him. It encourages children to have tolerance for living things in a very amusing way. It's designed to be read to children outside for an immersive exploration of nature. Willie and friends Scooter, Slimey, and Rainbow want to tell children that they mean no harm. Also, it allows the child to see life through the snails eyes-teaching empathy and discouraging bullying. Many children love to learn about, observe, and play with insects. However, some children are fearful and may automatically step on them. My book is designed to teach respect living things found in their natural environment.
