Bramalea City Centre has played an active role in Brampton for over 40 years and is proud of its long-standing community support of non-profit organizations and engagement programs supporting our community.

Every year Bramalea City Centre connects with non-profit community groups, helping them reach their outreach and fundraising goals. As of  2016 Bramalea City Centre has connected with over 85 nonprofit community groups and has helped raise over $150,000.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Peel:  

Bramalea City Centre is proud to partner with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Peel in collaboration with Morguard managed shopping centres that launched a national social cause marketing campaign called beyou. The multi-facet campaign is designed to provide young girls between the ages of 9-14 with better access to development tools that will empower them to achieve their goals and embrace their skills in a media and technology driven time.

Boys and Girls Club of Peel:

Bramalea City Centre is proud to support after school programs for the Boys and Girls Club of Peel.

Toys for Tots:

Every year Bramalea City Centre and Peel Regional Police work together to bring the joy of Christmas to underprivileged children. Bramalea City Centre and Peel Region Police Services donate their time and resources in support of the Toys for Tots continued success.

Community Space:

Bramalea City Centre donates community space to Charity and Non-Profit groups for their displays and set up.  The Community Kiosk is reserved for non-profit organizations wishing to promote their organization and raise awareness. Promotions must be free of political, racial, religious or socially offensive content.  If you would like to request the use of our Community Kiosk for your charitable endeavor. Please send a written request to the address indicated below. In your letter please provide the following:

 Information about your organization

  • The nature of your onsite activity
  • Your preferred dates (two days maximum)
  • Your charitable number
  • The name of your contact person and where to reach him/her

Only approved organizations will be contacted. If your request is approved, your organization will be required to complete a Temporary Occupancy Agreement and provide written proof of general liability insurance, minimum value $5 million, with specific requirements. Charities must also agree to abide by our standard rules and regulations.


DONATIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS

Each year Bramalea City Centre receives hundreds of donation requests. In order to ensure that we are helping as many organizations as possible, all requests are reviewed on an individual basis.

A donation would be a request for a shopping centre gift card to be used for a fundraiser or event.

A Sponsorship would involve Bramalea City Centre supporting an event, activity or organization financially, through the use of shopping centre space or other to the mutual benefit of both organizations.

Please note that all applications for donations and sponsorship are considered based on the following criteria: 

  • Be a registered non-profit organization 
  • Benefit the community in which Bramalea City Centre operates in 
  • Meets a compelling need in our community

Requests for the following are unlikely to receive approval: 

  • Advertising opportunities in brochures, programs or magazines
  • Bramalea City Centre will not solicit mall tenants for donations on behalf of a group or organization
  • Individual applicants 
  • Religious or political organizations 
  • Sports Teams
  • Third party fundraising 
  • Trips and tour

If you would like to request a donation or sponsorship, please send a letter outlining all pertinent details to the address indicated below. Telephone Requests will not be accepted. Each properly completed request is evaluated against Bramalea City Centre’s criteria, total funds available and its overall compatibility to our objectives.

Please note that Bramalea City Centre receives numerous requests on a regular basis and unfortunately unable to accommodate all requests. If your organization is selected to receive a donation, a Bramalea City Centre representative will contact you.
