The central concern of Truth, Community, and the Prophetic Voice asks how it might be possible today to uphold an understanding of the prophetic voice that comports in essential ways with its expression in the biblical vision, while attending especially to contemporary judgments regarding the epistemological significance of community and concerns about the nature and function of claims to truth. Ultimately and more specifically, Christopher J. Libby hopes to gain some purchase on what an adequate contemporary Christian theological rendering of the prophetic looks like.
