A pleasantly plummy fruit, with mineral notes and a texture that is rich and dense, but fairly supple and not as tannic as many wines from Gevrey. This delightful wine is produced from a parcel of 0.26ha of 45-year-old vines in fairly rich soils on the far side of the Route Nationale. Liger-Belair ferments the wine with 60% whole clusters and a very gentle extraction, punching down only twice in three weeks. Drinking window: 2025-2040.
