We are a family who broke and is still breaking all their generational curses, by supporting and teaching each other one step at a time. This book is about a family giving each other their flowers before they die. I do not mean the beautiful flowers you see in the fields that God created for us so graciously. I mean the beautiful gifts that God so loving, caring, and personally gave to each Mom for her to pass down to the generations of God's children.
I call these flowers from my children: my grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and maybe even great, great, grandchildren, if I live long enough. I also call the flowers that my children have given: Diplomas and Degrees. Last, I call flowers my children's accomplishments throughout their lives while they are down here on earth.
Now I would not ask them to give me my flowers while I live without first being an example of how to do this myself. I was determined to write this book for my family to assure them that they would know as much about me as possible to pass down to the generations to come. I put it in a book just in case someone looses it down the line, that way it will be on the bookshelves in the libraries. I also wrote this book because when my father passed away, I for some reason knew so little about him; I had a very hard time putting his obituary together, and my mother did not remember anything about her family.
My father lived to be in his nineties and I only knew one hand full about his relatives. Both of my grandparents were deceased before I was born. Well I did not want my family and my generations to go through that. So this book is for my family and anyone else who can learn from it.
