This is the story of the mischief of a five-year-old girl named Totochan. And it is the story of a small school called Tomo, which was run by a teacher named Sozaku Kobayashi in the rural environment of Tokyo, Japan. Tomo is a very special school. The message of how the educational methods of that school changed a mischievous child named Totochan made this work world famous. This book is a must read for the students and teachers here as the methods of Tomo School are similar to the DPEP curriculum in Kerala. This book has been independently revised by Vinod Narayan.
