She was born in New Orleans Louisiana and has been a Christian for over 25 years. She leads a Prison Ministry and host a Women Day event once a year for over 6 years. She is a graduate of LSU of Alexandria, La and currently seeking a degree in Theology at Liberty University, VA. She is married to Mayor Kenneth Pickett and have two sons Elliot and Kenneth Pickett Jr.
