This is a selection of vines grown on sandy soils in Decero's vineyard in Alto Agrelo. Aged for 14 months in barrels (20% new oak), this is a red with a juicy and fruity expression of the variety, very much in the style of the new Agrelo malbecs, which usually have this profile of tart cherries and flowers. The body has firm tannins and friendly acidity in a red that's both very well balanced and very juicy. Score - 92.
