The friendships between the children Agrippa, Audrey, Basharat and Brielle - first introduced in George Rosling's previous book The Four: Friends for Life - are growing stronger and stronger. They work as a team to complete tasks that enable them to raise money for the charity of their choice. The boys organize a sponsored run around the local athletics track and the girls get all their old toys and clothes together, and with the help of some old friends they sell them at the village hall jumble sale.
