The Black Eyes is a short play for young people based upon a popular urban myth that originated in the 20th Century in the USA. A perfect play for young people that utilises elements of horror, physical theatre and ensemble work to create a suspenseful and chilling play. This is a play that would be ideal for youth theatres from any country and has an adaptable cast size with the opportunity for stylised performances and an infinite number of staging possibilities. Written by Bev Clark this play won the One Act Play Category of the Roister Doister Publishing Playwriting for Young People Competition in 2015.
