What is preaching? Is it the performance of the message, the attire of the speaker, or how one commands the center stage? Preaching has often been lamented as being how well one delivers the Word of God. We live in a culture where people are fascinated with preachers who are considered to be "some kind of preacher" because of their delivery style and not the substance nor soundness of the Word. This book will examine the various aspects of expository preaching and teaching. All preaching is not sound doctrine! There are some sweet sounding preachers whose messages lack substance. The Bible may say, "it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe" but it doesn't mean one should act a fool in the pulpit!
