This is a blend of very old vines, planted on the level part of the Neyen Vineyard in Apalta, some almost 100 years ago, along with younger vines planted 30 years ago on the hillsides of the same estate. It's a carmenere that's very typical of the variety, with notes of herbs, red fruit, and spices, all wrapped in a smooth body, with very elegant tannins (like the other two reds in this line), always with a focus centered on fruity flavors.
