These ankle boots are made for walkin'! Pair the Birkenstock Stalon boots with jeans and a pair of woolen socks to create a classic laid-back look perfect for work, drinks, dinner or a weekend getaway! The Stalon is Birkenstock's version of a slip-on Chelsea boot. There are elasticated panels on the side of the boots, a loop at the back of the boots, a solid-looking yet surprisingly light sole made from synthetic materials and moisture-wicking microfiber lining. The upper is made from high-quality, soft nubuck leather. The upper is made of extra sturdy, leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters. Birkenstock uses natural leather which is recognized by its untreated surface. Birkenstock purposely does not treat surface grains of its sandals and shoes. The footbed of the Stalon is a replaceable footbed. The footbed of the Stalon is the Birkenstock Shoes Standard Suede. It features a deep heel cup that helps embed the heel and keep it firmly in its natural position; a medial longitudinal arch support that supports the inner longitudinal arch of the foot and acts against lowering of the inner foot edge; a lateral longitudinal arch support that supports the outer longitudinal arch and improves the positioning of the midfoot and rear foot on the footbed and the transversal arch support that stabilizes the metatarsal bone and ensures that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
