She hasn't shared this fear with her parents. Carrie is planning to deal with her fear on her own. Carrie is happy. Her plan is working, for a while. Then, one day, Carrie's parents have a talk with her. Carrie is no longer happy. Mom and Dad decide Carrie is going to sleep in her own bed.
