Shep and the Momma Mongoose is the first in a planned series of children's books focused on the shared adventures of Shep, a Chihuahua-Terrier mix, and his human mother Eileen. These adventures began in Hawaii where Shep and Eileen found each other at the Hawaii Humane Society. This first book focuses on an incident that occurred early in their life together when Shep fist discovered what a mongoose was and learned that a mother's love is the same no matter what kind of creature you are.
