It's about 30 kilometers from the sea, so there's some Pacific influence, but it's also hot. The soils, on the other hand, are calcareous but also have abundant clay. Both factors instill the succulent, round aspect of this chardonnay with white fruit and herbal aromas and flavors, while the saline side typical of Limarí chardonnay comes across very clearly.
