In 1984, with a recipe developed by his great-great-grandfather, Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch launched the American craft brewing industry with his first batch of Boston Lager. It's an easy-drinking style, with malty and banana-bread notes balanced by citrusy hops. Pour with deli sandwiches, fish and chips or barbecue.
