What a wild nose of fresh herbs, at once tonic and medicinal, with a framing of fruit, clean, pure and ripe! There's certainly a high degree of complexity on offer, and I wouldn't call it classic barbera, but it delivers plenty. I like the drive and energy, and the very vibrant, crunchy acids; tannins are quite light and fine, but provide only modest structure in the end.
