This book is a reproduction for the Powells Valley Primitive Baptist Churches in East Tennessee. The desire for this project is to reserve some record of these churches, specifically their congregants' and leaders' dedication to their beliefs and faith in the Lord. The fact that a lot of different people saved these records shows how much the community shares a love for its fellowship and faith life. There was and is no large organization running these churches. The association was and is run by members of the individual churches. Immense history may be found in these pages. Read and discover countless examples of faith this special community has had for many decades.
