In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, humans struck a deal with a select few highly intelligent zombies in order to survive: I give you blood, you protect me. Each person could keep at most one of these advanced zombies, and everyone felt their days were hard-knackered, pinching every drop of blood from their carotid arteries to make it last. Only the situation of Sanwu, the little beggar, was somewhat different. Sanwu stared at the cluster of zombies in front of him, tapped on the pot lid, and said impatiently, "How many times have I told you? You have to line up when you get your food!" The zombies tilted their heads and fell into line. Sanwu scooped up a spoonful of Chinese cabbage.
