Natural yeast fermented and aged in neutral oak, this Stellenbosch chenin pours bright, fairly deep lemon-gold. It has very generous and detailed nose of peach pie, lemon, subtle honey and billowing florality. It is medium-full bodied, creamy and almost satiny with generous fruit on the palate, some warmth, bitterness and excellent to outstanding length. A touch saline on the finish. Tasted Sept 2020. Score - 94. (David Lawrason, winealign.com) Natural yeast fermented and aged in neutral oak, this Stellenbosch chenin pours bright, fairly deep lemon-gold.
