Notes of figs and dates on the nose along with iron and cherry. The palate offers a great deal of complexity, mouthfeel and refinement. This is a serious offering even given the price. Notes of tomato, fresh red berry fruit, iron and meat, rose and violets along with red and black licorice. The tannins are firm but not altogether unyielding and the acidity is firm but not unpleasant. Big mouthfeel without heaviness. Great typicity here. Still youthful. Excellent length. Best 2019-2027. Tasted October 2016. Score - 93. (Sara d'Amato, winealign.com) Notes of figs and dates on the nose along with iron and cherry. The palate offers a great deal of complexity, mouthfeel and refinement.
