This little book of poems and stories is about about some of the places I've lived as a little boy in Canada's North, a little fishing community called Square Islands, that I have so many fond memories of. Other poems are about events like Cains Quest; an endurance snowmobile race across Labrador's interior, and other poems about love . My mom loved poetry and so did my dad who wrote a book of poems himself and was very good at reciting poems. As a boy I loved to recite Robert w Service who was my favourite poet .
