Already blended but awaiting bottling when I tasted it in July 2023, the tank-aged 2022 Ventoux Edition 1912M is an assemblage of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. The nose is vaguely peppery and hints briefly of violets, then it develops more cherries and blackberries, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, round, silky and supple, with ample concentration and a ripe, fruity finish. Fun stuff. Drink date: 2023-2028. Score - 89-91.
