OLLIE AND THE KID is the story of a very unusual young boy as he adapts to a new town, new adventures and a very special new friend. The Kid has given up his real name because of an incredible secret he keeps inside him- he is actually not a real boy, but a shapeshifter sent from the past. When the Kid meets Ollie - a feisty young girl his age who lives above her mother's beach restaurant - he is slowly drawn out of his reluctance to trust another person with his secret. Ever since her father perished in a boating accident several years ago, Ollie has become very close to her uncle Corky. When a mysterious stranger appears in town, unsettling events start happening deep under the ocean. Ollie, the kid and uncle Corky must join forces to save the ocean's creatures and their town. Finally, after many close calls while escaping the clutches of this dangerous stranger, the Kid reveals to Ollie the reason that he arrived in her life.
