Designed for remote use with ovens, barbecues, fryers, and smokers, this Digital Single Probe Roast Alert Thermometer comes with a stainless-steel probe on a detachable 42 in. heat-resistant wire. Its cooking menu includes 4 doneness levels and 9 different types of meat, ranging from beef and veal to ground turkey. You can pre-program the settings or customize their options, for perfect results with your favorite recipes. The unit's large LCD monitor is easy to read, and screen is backlit in blue, green, then red as temperature moves toward the set target. Count down timer is built-in, can also be set to count up
