Moderate but not aggressive wood influence is present on the somber and reticent aromas of dark berry coulis, spice and a marked sauvage character. The caressing, mouth coating and deceptively supple broad-shouldered flavors immediately tighten up on the extremely firm, robust and powerful finish that exhibits terrific length.
