There should be a restriction on how many enemies you're allowed to have. Five years after Alexis became a vampire she's come back to Seattle for a fresh start complete with a new apartment, potentially a new job and a new set of problems trying to deal with an extremely ruthless vampire she's never met before. There's also the mounting attraction she struggles to control towards a handsome detective she keeps running into, every time another body drops. Thankfully she has a good support system in place with the help of some friends, old and new. Now if she could just gain more control over herself around the detective and find a way to convince him she's not a killer. Well, not really.
