Originally recorded during their July 1983 tour dates in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Regina, these live songs have been mastered and packaged within a special 1CD or 2LP reissue which also include a new forward written by the band and a collection of tour photos from the Streetheart archives. Live After Dark is a celebration of the band\xe2\x80\x99s career that has now spanned over 40 years. Comprised of 15 tracks, the album includes fan favourites such as \xe2\x80\x9cAction\xe2\x80\x9d (the lead track from their 1978 debut album Meanwhile Back in Paris\xe2\x80\xa6), \xe2\x80\x9cWhat Kind Of Love Is This\xe2\x80\x9d (the highest\xe2\x80\x90charting single written by the band), and \xe2\x80\x9cLook In Your Eyes\xe2\x80\x9d (from their Double Platinum self-titled album), and also includes a live version of \xe2\x80\x9cHighway Isolation\xe2\x80\x9d, which was not included on the original release.
