Lot 4 comes from a 1.5-hectare block in the Maitén Vineyard, planted in 2008 on the granite and clay soils of the Coastal Mountains. Aging was an important aspect of this wine. It spent seven months, half in foudres, 30% in cement eggs, and the rest in 400-liter barrels. This sauvignon blanc has an accent on the concentration of the fruit and the sensation of compact, dense tropical fruit surrounded by firm, almost mineral acidity. It's juicy and tense, and the sense of depth is important here, filling your mouth with that fruity sensation. [Enjoy this wine for another 2+ years.] Score - 95.
