The 2023 Le Dôme was picked from September 20 to October 2. It has a much more succinct bouquet that previous vintages, following in the theme of Jonathan Maltus's other wines: more restraint and focus. It's very pure with black cherries, black plum and a touch of spice coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, more density than the Mazerat and fine grip. Quite structured, the 80% Cabernet Franc obviously defines the finish. Very fine. Drinking window: 2029-2045. (Neal Martin,Other) The 2023 Le Dôme was picked from September 20 to October 2.
