From a small parcel, the 2018 Sancerre La Côte de Bué offers a sensual texture and ripe. It's a Barry White wine. With its chalky-clay soils, the warm season and its upbringing (40% in barrel and on lees for a year), it gives a rich, supple expression with ripe fruit reminiscent of white nectarines, ripe apples. Made from relatively young vines (around 10 years old), this shows a lot of potential for the future. A little more length would elevate it further. First made in 2014. Drinking window: 2022-2030. Score - 91. (Rebecca Gibb, MW, vinous.com, Aug. 30, 2022) From a small parcel, the 2018 Sancerre La Côte de Bué offers a sensual texture and ripe. It's a Barry White wine.
