Pale golden yellow; green apple, grapefruit & pears with hint of spice on the nose & palate; dry, fresh & zesty. This is a classy, restrained chardonnay with fine, tight complexity and nuance. Look for pear, nutmeg, vanilla and peat smoke, all nicely entwined if not hugely generous. It's medium weight, firm yet almost delicate, with some mouthwatering minerality on the finish. Very good length. Good value, and state of the art Ontario chardonnay at a very fair price. Best to 2015.
