Gogi La Mer Pinot Noir 2017

[Gogi is Kurt Russell's wine project, named for the nickname his family gave him. (His wife, Goldie Hawn, is known as Gogo.) This wine is named for Russell and Hawn's daughter-in-law Erinn.] There are tart and tangy aromas of red plum and sour cherry on the nose of this bottling, which also recalls incense and cedar, reminiscent of a brawny men's cologne. Crisp cranberry-fruit flavors are decorated with pine needle, eucalyptus tea and lightly cracked pepper on the palate. [Drink into the mid-2030s.] Score - 92.
