Margot grew up in Barbados and immigrated to Canada as a young adult. During her teen years as an Anglican parishioner, Margot was not content with just singing praises to God from the pew, so she joined the church choir. She felt a more intimate connection in her spiritual relationship during her praise to the Holy Spirit. When Margot immigrated to Canada, she felt a significant spiritual disconnection with God. She spent over thirty years seeking and yearning to feel the truth and love of the Holy Spirit by attending other churches. She never stopped singing her praises to God and reading the Holy Bible.
