For Floresta, cabernet sauvignon vines are selected from vineyards planted around 2015 on the hillsides of Alto Jahuel, at the foot of the first spurs of the Andes in Alto Maipo. Aged in a combination of old barrels, foudres, and concrete for about 14 months, the result is a wine with deliciously exuberant herbal aromas in a framework of firm, incisive tannins that remain sharp from start to finish on the palate. A cabernet that's generous and especially fruity, influenced by the Andean breezes, but also by the generous sun and heat of the place.
