A fulsome Pouilly-Fuissé, very much in the character of this noteworthy southern Mâconnais appellation. Creamy and pleasantly lactic with a well-balanced degree of viscosity and alcohol (at a declared abv of 13.5%). The loftiness of the palate is juxtaposed by firm acidity. The oak spice is significant but does not overwhelm the rich stone fruit that lingers on the finish of very good length. Tasted October 2023. Score - 90.
