The vines date back to 1980, in Les Aussy. 50% whole bunch vinification. Mid crimson purple. Taking time to tease out the nose. There is plenty of fruit weight here, more red than black, lifted towards the back of the palate with a little white pepper and good acidity. The 1er Cru quality really shows the further back you go on the palate, with an engaging complex yet very refined finish. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted Nov 2024. Score - 92-94.
