This year, my favorite of the co-op releases is the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine les Escondudes, a 100% Grenache cuvée aged in steel and concrete. Drawn from the lieux-dits of les Escondudes and Terre Ferme, it offers floral notes, raspberry fruit and a magical combination of concentration without excessive weight, coming across as silky and airy in texture while delivering intense flavors. Drink date: 2018-2030. Score - 91-93.
