Toasted hazelnut, chalk plus the merest hint of summer blossom and creaminess combine into a subdued but utterly attractive nose on this wine. The palate has the same sonorous and gentle texture, rich, layered and giving a real sense of chalkiness. All is pervaded by lemon freshness.
