This lovely left-bank premier cru boasts good concentration of Bosc pear and passion-fruit aromas with a pleasantly chalky mineral edge. The texture is snappy and crisp, but there is enough density to bring balance and luxuriously draw out the finish. The grapes come from a total of 3.5ha of organically farmed vines; they are fermented in a combination of stainless steel (70%) and cask (30%) before ageing in a tank before bottling. The wine will drink well on release, but it should come into its own with a few years of bottle age. Drinking window: 2027-2040. Score - 91.
