Searching for old bottles and artifacts A passion for history and an interest in old bottles and artifacts has led to the publication of "Dog Creek 100 Years." the second book by Cariboo author and hobby historian Don Logan. Over 177 pages of history, interesting descriptions and photographs depict Dog Creek over 100 years, including faces and facts key to the area. There are photos of people like Samuel Brown, Moses Pigeon, Isidore Gaspard (ancestor of the Isnardys) John Davis, Jim Brown, Edgar Dewdney, Joseph Place, Joy Sim, Ernest Thoresen, AJ Drinkell, Augustine Charlie, and Barbara Spencer, to name a few. Group photos, family photos, school yard photos and ranch photos fill the pages. The Dog Creek Sawmill, a dance at the Measons' Little Dog House, Churn Creek Ferry, Dog Creek Hotel and Store, and the Dog Creek Flour Mill are all pictured, documented a historically dynamic time in the Cariboo.
