To stop a future of annihilation, dark fairies plot to extinguish the threat in the present. In that future, Amari is doling out death but the queen at her back isn't her mother, but the Autumn Queen. When Jorja learns of this possible future, she's stunned. Why wouldn't she support her daughter in a war against dark fairies? There is only one answer, and Amari's kidnapping puts Jorja in a race against time to save her daughter. Naturally, there is only one warrior she can call to help protect her family, but there is a hit on Russo as well.
