Dawn of a New Day: B. V. Islanders Reclaim their Homeland takes the reader on a twenty-five-year journey, 1942-1967, of the History of the British Virgin Islands. During those years, tensions between the governing and the governed increased significantly, culminating in demonstrations and marches demanding change. The demands were economic, political, educational, Health and Social Development in nature.
