It offers soft fruit with no greenness, but it almost behaves like a Sangiovese with dark plum and blackberry. There is a ferrous note of rusty nail, and the wine concludes with velvety tannins and a medium-rich mouthfeel. I get a hint of smoked tobacco as well. Score - 93.
