The 2023 Olivier shows a little reduction on the nose, but just beyond that is decent fruit concentration - blackberry and blueberry fruit, with light violet scents that come through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sorbet-fresh black fruit laced with licorice. There is more body on the finish than expected. This is quite an intense Pessac-Léognan that deserves three to five years in bottle. Very promising. Drinking window: 2029-2049.
