Capraia Riserva Chianti Classico 2008

The 2008 Chianti Classico Tenuta di Capraia Riserva wraps around the palate with dark cherries, tobacco, leather, licorice and smoke. There is plenty of depth and richness in the glass. In fact, this is one of the bigger, richer 2008s I tasted. It has more than enough depth to drink well for a number of years. The Riserva is 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino.
