The 2021 Selección de Parcelas Los Primos Pinot Noir fermented with more full clusters, 20%, and had a little less new oak, 33% compared with the 2020, and the differences in the weather made this 2021 more vibrant, elegant and fresher than the 2020 from a warmer and drier year. It's floral, vibrant with red fruit and with very fine tannins, full development of flavors and aromas, with a purity they had not reached in previous vintages. They harvested a little later, but the wine kept a moderate 13.5% alcohol and a low pH of 3.39, denoting superb freshness. 2021 was also lower yielding because of frost, and they only produced 3,049 bottles. It was bottled in September 2022. Drink date: 2024-2030. Score - 96.
