Natural leather means the sandal has an untreated surface. Birkenstock purposely does not treat surface grains of its sandals. The sandal also features an additional foam layer, the soft footbed, which offers extra comfort and is designed for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. A lightweight EVA sole provides cushioning and shock-absorbing traction.
