This is a compelling story of courage and perseverance that began in 1954 when a farm girl, Sonja Entz, met a football coach's son, Bruce Gale, who went to work 700 miles away in the farmlands of South Dakota. Coming from vastly different backgrounds, their love story revolved around their common goal to be used by God in this world. Together they faced many insurmountable odds. With their determination and God's unquestionable grace, the vision He planted in their hearts did, in fact, come to life and unfold during the next 50 years of their lives: Bruce became a physician, specialized in pediatrics, and Sonja and he served during the largest portion of their lives in a country that would become their home, Costa Rica.
